A very family friendly business. Especially with the younger kids. They make it so fun for them, they don’t even realize they learning. Even when they are going up through the belts, they make sure they are ready to test. It’s not like other studios that just hand out belts. They even do a family appreciation night for the kids. (Giving parents time to shop for holidays) They are fantastic people with a fantastic studio. Highly recommend Ct Kenpo!

Love, love, love this place. Once you join you are family. My daughter started at five as a little dragon. She is now 18 in the adult class. Working towards her adult black belt. She also teaches there as a assistant instructor. She was always a bit shy and quiet but this seemed to bring her out of her shell a bit. It gives great discipline and motivation.

The instructors are friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. Curriculum is tailored to each belt rank and training is individualized to each student. Additionally, stranger danger and get away technique training is incorporated into the program and practiced regularly. I would recommend Connecticut Kenpo to anyone who is interested in studying martial arts.

This is a great place to bring your kids to learn martial arts. They will also learn life skills required for school. We work on self decipline, self control and physical conditioning. We are a family friendly school with discounts for multiple family members. With a free trial program this school give you a good opportunity to understand the program before you sign up. After that because we do not require contracts you are not committed to a year, everything is month to month.
